READ THESE RULES! VIOLATING CERTAIN RULES WILL GET YOU BANNED FROM CLAN VGA!

The cost of the Clan VGA Battlefield Bad Company Tournament is $5.00 U.S.
Prize Support: A FREE Xbox 360 game will be awarded to the top player with the best stats. The only stipulation: The game must support some type of online multiplayer; this is to promote clan play among fellow Assasssins. The cost of the game can be up to a maximum of $60 U.S. dollars. To people outside of the U.S., don't worry about currency conversion, I pay all extra fees, and will buy the game overseas in your country, and the game will be directly shipped to you from the company I buy it from./li>
The Tournament start time will be on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time (1 p.m. Mountain, 2 p.m. Central, 3 p.m. Eastern) Please show up on time. Game play will start at 12:10 p.m. Pacific time. If you don't show up on time, you forfeit. No excuses. See the Tournaments page for a time zone conversion chart.
If you sign up for the tournament and are seen online in other games instead of showing up for the touranment, you will be automatically ejected from the tournament, lose your $5.00 entrance fee, and will be permanently banned from Clan VGA. No excuses. No second chances. It takes time to set up tourneys, and when you sign up, and decide to play another game instead during tourney time, you're basically telling me and your teammates to go screw themselves. So I'll return the favor, and boot you out of the clan for wasting our time. Clan VGA is no place for quitters. If you have things to do during tourney time, and can't make it, that is understandable, but try to make each session. If for some reason you can't make it after you sign up, please e-mail me at VGA_d15c1pL3@Clan-VGA.com and let me know you won't be able to make it, so I can adjust teams. However, be forewarned, you'll still lose out on your $5.00 sign-up fee. That is non-refundable.
Members must have VGA in their Xbox Live Gamer Tag, and must be current members. If you don't belong to Clan VGA then you don't play. Members will not be allowed to invite other people from their Xbox Live Friend's List. The server will be private.
Teams will be broken down into two teams, named Alpha and Bravo teams respectively. These teams will be created randomly, but will remain as a team for the duration of the tournament. Team rosters will be announced on July 20, 2008.
Maps and Game Types will be posted under Itinerary on the Battlefield Bad Company tourney page.
The winner of the tournament will be chosen as follows: After each game, the person on the winning team, with the highest score, will be awarded a win for that match. For Free-For-All games, the winner will be the highest scorer. Also, all scores for all players will be recorded at the end of each match. Once we cycle through the maps and game types on the itinerary, the person with the most wins will win. If there is a tie, then it will fall on who racked up the most aggregate points during the tournament. The stats will be posted on the Clan VGA website.
No hacks. No cheat codes. PERIOD! This will get you ejected from Clan VGA. However, players can take advantage of the games weaknesses and glitches. This is not cheating, and hence it will be allowed. I repeat, these things ARE allowed. Why you might ask? Because all of these are built into the game, and all can be defeated. It teaches adaptation. Read Sirlin's 3-part article: Play To Win (which I have posted to the Yahoo Group, and will post .pdf files of these articles on the Tournaments page soon.)
Clan VGA retains the right to amend these rules any time we see fit to improve the tournament.
Last, but most important rule: If you don't like these rules, you don't have to come and play. However, if you do come and play, don't whine about the rules. By signing up, you agree to all of the above rules.
